October 13, 2017 by F3mininja

Nigeria hates our women. I know there’s probably no place in the world where misogyny, most especially misogynoir, isn’t rife but I am a Nigerian woman; Nigerian culture, which is just a melting pot of the dominant cultural groups, affects me and Nigerian women are who i care about here. Oh, Misty. How best to describe you? Were you just a theatre performance? Just a play? Or were you a concert? A film waiting to happen? Were you all these things at once? @beholdarinze i do not have the words to convey to others the power you bring to the stage - seeing you perform is an experience in and of itself. Arinze, you are where you’re meant to be. Your talent knows no bounds. I was in awe of you at Black Lives, Black Words and i remain in that state. Thank you for this brilliance; thank you for Misty. Each time I’ve seen it, it felt like the first time. Keep making ‘ Featre Rainforest Jungle Shit’. #bushtheatre #misty #theatre
